Shower-addition
Bathrooms are just as multifarious as
whole apartments in size and provision. Partially, they have bathtub,
partially also only one shower-cubicle, merely but there is also such
that has both. Therefore, facilities, with which the Doll should be
bathed, are to be adjusted the given spatial conditions. They should be
suited to the existing lifting and storage equipment so that the
expenditure for strength and skill will be limited.
This equipment is used for the taking a shower the Doll in an existing
bathtub. It consists a two-leg rack and the upper run-beam.
This run-beam supports itself beside at the upper crossbeam of the
lifting and storage equipment and the two-leg racks. A crab, who is
equipped with one of revolving camped hooks, is on this beam. The Doll
is along-driven with the lifting and storage equipment, replaced into
the crab and can be taken a shower.
Following spatial conditions for the design of the equipment are:
The height-difference between the waiter-edge of the bathtub and the
lifting machine amounts to 1380 mm (≈ 4 ft, 6 ½
"), the waiter-edge of the bathtub even lies in a height of 550 mm
(≈ 1 ft, 9 ½ "). The distance between the wall and
this lifting and storage equipment amounts 920 mm (≈
3 ft). And: The feet of the two-leg results from the angle of the
side-beams to the vertical of 15°, and amaounts
approximately 700 mm (≈ 2 ft, 4 ").
The resulting measurements of the wooden parts are
condensed in the drawing, the measurements of the crab depend on the
base material and the raceway, realized with the
upper beam.
The base material: It is about pine wood-beams, planed and a lateral
cut of 34×34 mm² for the two-leg rack and
44×44 mm² for the upper beam. They were varnished
brightly with oak. The load capacity of the total-construction
is 100 kg (≈ 220 lb).
The folding-bracket: Supporting the upper beam (with the crab) itself
on the two-leg rack and the upper beam of the lifting and storage
machine, no load capacity-requests to it are demanded. A
simple implementation, that guarantees merely, therefore suffices that
the components of the shower-addition are held together.
The crab: The reason-construction will be realized with 3 mm
thick connection-strips and the five screw thread-poles. The
inflection at the underside should catch the forces, that occur in the
context of the Doll, and should refer. Here, existing drillings were
used furtherly. It is adviced against a sharp turning (with too small
or
negligible radius) because an inconspicuous balance of the displacement
can take place through the inflection because of the material
thickness. Still, the steadiness of the crab is not impaired. The
selection of the bed-crust-roles becomes more difficult. They should be
lent to at least 35 kg (≈ 75 lb) of load.
