Discrete Doll Stand
Can
you introduce your Doll in the poses as a hostess or as a lucky
birthday child and photograph, and the pictures afterwards with little
expenditure reworks? The doll stand must hide discreetly to it behind
the Doll.

Based on a few workshop cranes offered by different manufacturers, for
example for the automotive service, there was made a simple to realize
solution with simple tools, that also is inexpensive too.
Three prefabricated parts essentially determine the qualities of the
doll stand:
1. The swing beam: The dimensioning of the swing beam determines the
height range of the doll hook. The length is furthermore to reach the
demanded height range and the forces can be managed by using a
compact construction. The total length of the swing beam
is 800
mm, the load arm of the swing beam is 500 mm and the strength arm is
300 mm.
2. The standing beam: His pivot establishes the middle position of the
demanded height range. The height of the pivot for a B3-Doll is at the
height of 1100 mm. He can be lower with physically smaller dolls. The
standing beam picks up also the adapter plate with the winch.
3. The two side beams: Their length is to 600 mm. They lie to each
other in a corner of 60°. This order offers stability
sufficiently
and doesn't stop the positioning of the Doll on seat and day
bed-furniture. Provided the existing place admits it, longer side beams
have some advantages. Longer side beams decrease the necessity to have
to work counterbalance during some poses.
This discrete doll stand is not primary intended for the transportation
of the Doll. With the installed roles, the possibility of the doll
moving is given. If however, the doll must be moved over short routes,
this should happen this only with the back to the stand, and this never
backwards. The only exception is an insignificant pushing back in
preparation of the intended pose, during what pushing back must be
directly performed at the stand foot.
The base material: It is about pine wood beams, planed with a lateral
cut of 58×58 mm². They were varnished brightly with
oak. The
load capacity of the total construction is with 100 kg (220 lb).
The winch: It is a GÜDE winch type 360 with a maximum load
over
300 kg (220 lb). The most important quality is that it can
hold
(important for the positioning of the doll) the load automatically
almost at each place. This was equipped with steel-rope with a length 4
m (4 ¼ ft) and its diameter is 4 mm, manufactured
with
stainless steel wire (tensile strength 1,6 kN). Using the swing beam
moving parts are avoided largely in immediate proximity of the head of
the Doll.
Side-corners (other term: Brackets): They are aluminum pressure casted.
These brackets make the main part of the stability of the doll stand.
Therefore, implementations out of punched steel-sheet metal are
inappropriate. Also brackets in welded implementation are not suitable
because they are very showy with their braces. Side-corner
(brackets) other through the application alters also their
mounting at the foot parts and the measurements itself.
The safety stick: It's manufactured with steel wire and is equipped
with two thimbles. The total length is 650 mm (25 ½ "). It's
intended for the fixation of the swing beam during storage
and transportation. Also a chain with matching length can be
picked instead of the steel-wire.
